Grail Swamp Thang Tele

Believe it or not the objective for this build was to recreate a rosewood tele for me to use as rhythm guitar in the band The Solo Beatles

Whlst looking for a nicely grain figured body I fell in love with a body offered by Mark at MJT Custom, and the Swamp Thang was born.

This is a professionally built guitar using a premium One Piece Swamp Ash body cut to vintage T-style specs by Wildwood Manufacturing in California, and finished with an aged vintage 100% nitro lacquer Tobacco Sunburst by Mark Jenny of MJT® Aged Guitar Finishes

Neck is finished in aged 100% nitro lacquer, with all metal parts and pick guard also professionally aged.

The guitar is fitted with a Bare Knuckle ‘Stormy Monday’ humbucker at the neck and ’55 Blackguard’ pickup at the bridge.

Finally the guitar has been fret dressed and professionally setup with a low and very playable action.

The tone from this guitar is incedible unplugged and has to be heard
